A weak three days at the Turnstiles hands number one honors to “Jack The Giant Slayer,” with 28 million, certainly not a bad opening but far below what the empty suits had hoped for.

More encouraging was the crash of “21 And Over.” Its $9 million opening wasn’t even enough to beat out “Identity Thief,” which has gone well over a hundred million despite featuring half-wit Jason Bateman and calorically challenged Melissa McCarthy. Even the tards that coughed up cash for the overrated Hangover flicks couldn’t be bothered with this one. Can’t imagine why.

All things being equal… it was a good weekend for Netflix.
